A solid forged heavy duty shovel with pointed blade for easier penetration into the ground. 305mm (12 Inch) x 240mm (9-1/2 Inch) solid forged carbon steel head. 170mm (6-1/2 Inch) lift on head. 711mm (28 Inch) x 31.75mm (1-1/4 Inch ) dia tubular steel handle. Metal YD hilt. Solid forged carbon steel head for strength and durability. Tubular steel handle rotary welded to socket to ensure perfect alignment of weld. Powder coated head for resistance against rust, scratches, humidity, and excess alkalis. Easily passes BS3388 Load Test.
