Quick connect adapters are used to attach or remove accessories from your pressure washer. All you need to do is slide back the collar of the socket from half of the quick connect to remove the coupler from the filter plug, attaching it by just pushing the collar firmly onto the plug. Once the plug is firmly seated in the socket the safety collar locks into place. The o-ring seals within the female, socket half of the quick connect and will occasionally blow out or deteriorate allowing the pump to operate without the hose or nozzle attached. Also, if leaks occur when using the coupler, replace the o-ring seal.
